Angelica joined Dumont in January 2014 as an analyst in the Patent Department and today serves as Patent Filing Manager. She has worked in IP since 1998 and has broad experience in all areas of IP as well as other areas of law. As Patent Filing Manager, Angelica is responsible for the consulting, filing, and administrative processes for Patent, Industrial Designs, and Utility Models portfolios of the firm’s international clients.

Her practice is chiefly focused on the presentation and administrative processing of Patents, Industrial Designs, and Utility Models in Mexico. Further aspects of her practice include advising on and registration of transfer of rights, name changes, mergers, and patent licenses, as well as general advice directed to the protection of inventions in Mexico.

She is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), where she serves as Liaison for South America of the Women Committee as well as the International Trademark Association (INTA).
